Why did you choose Geography?
Geography to me is about bridging our environment and society together, which I always enjoyed learning at school. Further I chose to study Geography because of the skills gained, knowing that we use our understanding to make a real difference in helping others.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
Most of the time, you can catch me sleeping almost everywhere. I'm literally a grandma sleeping half of the day and soemtimes consider many hours of rest naps. My frinds even have a collection of me sleeping during my 2nd year fieldtrip to Morocco.
Yik Kei Leung

Why did you choose Geography?
I am passionate about sustainability and combatting climate change and Geography offers a interdisciplinary mix between the social and biphysical aspects of climate change.

Dominic Freake

Why did you choose Geography?
Officially, beacuse I've always had a deep passion for space, place and landscape. Unofficially, it was offered to me instead of IR, and after looking into the syllabus, a less political and more scientific approach, among other things, to the natural and artificial world and their problems, spoke to me.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I'm surprisingly boring, I have a cool trick to fold t-shirts quickly though.
Eliana Longo Collins

Why did you choose Geography?
I chose Geography due to the variety of pathways it can lead to both during and after the course as well as the possibilities to travel and conduct fieldwork abroad.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I was once nearly left behind on a secondary school trip because one of my teachers became convinced I was a German foreign exchange student from another school (I was never able to and still can't speak any German...).
Amelia Parkes

Why did you choose Geography?
I love that Geography is such a broad subject, it means there is always something to learn! Plus I'm a pro at colouring-in!
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I'm a professional karaoke singer, I'm sure anyone who was in Spain can agree. If you're lucky this year I'll be back by popular demand...
Robyn Lees
